About the Practitioner

ABQ MASSAGE & MYOFASCIAL THERAPIES is owned and operated by Kurt Simmons.

I am a nationally certified massage therapist, licensed in the State of New Mexico (NM License #4462). My ten years of experience as a massage therapist has given me the knowledge and technical skills required, so that I can deliver the best therapeutic massage experience available in the Albuquerque area!

ABQ MASSAGE & MYOFASCIAL THERAPIES has been in existence since 2003. My goal has always been to provide the best in massage services, along with stellar customer service. Here at ABQ MASSAGE & MYOFASCIAL THERAPIES, I recognize the individual as such and tailor sessions to meet your specific needs. I provide specialized therapeutic massage to promote deep relaxation and pain relief, using the latest innovations in Myofascial, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular, Swedish, and Medical Massage techniques. Your comfort and safety are my primary concerns. With this in mind, I encourage communication between client and therapist.

I believe that knowledge is power, and I have cultivated a strong, lifetime commitment to continuing education. In addition to my basic massage therapy training, I actively update my training with supplemental continuing education courses. I have studied with Tom Myers, a leading figure in massage therapy research and education. Additionally, I have recently been certified as a Medical Massage Practitioner.
